Export from SpeakLog: subtitles, blog posts and MP4
Subtitles, study blogs and videos are independent outputs. Review the text first, then choose a format for your destination. SpeakLog saves files or prepares content to copy; it does not automatically publish for you.
Check before exporting
Verify names, specialist terms, timing and whether rewrites preserve your meaning. Choose original wording, natural wording, or a bilingual version with an explanation-language translation.
Look for private conversations, people, addresses and visible text. Face blurring does not replace reviewing each section and does not cover every kind of sensitive information.
Subtitles: SRT, VTT or ASS
SRT is a common sentence-level subtitle format. VTT is often used for web video. Choose ASS when you want supported part-of-speech colors and keyword styling. Actual rendering depends on the player or editor.
Import the file into software or a video platform that supports its format. To preserve the app’s word highlighting, readings and colors directly in the picture, use the subtitle-video export and check its preview.
Blog posts: files or clipboard
Generate a study blog from reviewed subtitles, then check the main text, comparisons, grammar notes and vocabulary. Generation and rewriting use the selected AI provider.
Save Markdown or HTML for local use or compatible publishing workflows. For note or Medium, copy rich text and paste it into the editor. For X, split the text into numbered posts and copy them individually.
Copying is not a successful publication. A destination editor can change formatting, so review layout, images and links before posting.
Video: preview, then export MP4
Choose original video with subtitles, a subtitle-only background, or replacement footage. Set 16:9, 9:16 or 1:1, the subtitle layer, readings, translation and colors.
Check cuts, pauses, audio and blurring before exporting MP4. Video rendering runs on the Mac; time depends on duration, resolution, effects and hardware.
Upload the MP4 yourself. Platform requirements for aspect ratio, length and encoding can change, so check the destination’s current upload requirements.
Keep an editable project
An MP4 alone cannot restore the complete subtitle-editing state. Keep the SpeakLog project and its referenced original media if you may edit it again.
The release page lists versions and checksums. When reporting an export issue, include the app version, format and reproducible steps; you do not need to publish private footage.
